12 WordPress Food Themes
As part of my celebration of food week I am serving 12 food and drink related WordPress themes. As always, some are better than others but all are fun.
Let me know in the comments if you like any of them and if you have any food related sites that you would use them on.

Hi Kim,
Thanks for the list. Awesome job as usual.
I like these themes. They would make really good themes for food/drink/restaurant review sites. Wine is probably my favorite. It’s probably one of the least fun but it looks pretty classy.
The only downside is I forgot my food today and this isn’t helping. :-P

Hi Jim – Thanks! I’m not sure which one is my favorite. Maybe
Vegetable Graffix – but then I like green.
I have broccoli cheddar loaf if you get hungry :-P

I think that I’m in love. I’ve been looking for fantastic food themes for about 3 years now and not found a single one, although I’ve played with many. Today I hit upon your site and found a few suitable, and one that I love. Thank you so much!

Hi Stratos – There are many many more :-)
March 11, 2009 at 8:38 am
Now I’m hungry! And I wish more food blogs had such clean themes. I get nervous when I’m at a blog with all the boxes and banners and the huge google ad in the middle of the recipe.

Sorry about the hunger – hope it doesn’t mess up Shangri-La ;-)

Nice! That sushi theme is very pretty, even if you don’t have a food blog. And the red one is nice, too (although I’m not a tomato fan). I would think there would be more, since I’ll bet there are lots of foodie blogs. And what, no burger dripping grease? They all look so healthy.
Thanks, nice summary!

Hi Dot – LOL I don’t like tomatos either :-) Well, at least raw.
I’m a vegetarian so I probably didn’t include ones with meat
subconsciously. Maybe in the next installment I’ll do meat themes or
unhealthy food themes :-)

Those are quite yummy. The first one is my favorite. Maybe if I started a blog about cooking, I’d be motivated to cook more. :)

Pete has so many recipes in his data base, he should totally blog about them.
I love the wine theme, too, and I like the sushi and vegetable. Hmmm. White copy on dark backgrounds. Everyone says they’re hard to read, but don’t they look cool!

Hi Betsy – I totally agree. White copy on dark looks very cool – but is
impossible to read … at least for me.
Pete should do the recipes – I’d love to see them.

Hi Courtney – Thank you but I just compiled the list – I didn’t make those themes.
