Hi Barbara - I had to do something with all the squash I was getting in my farm box - not my favorite thing. I'll be more into cooking when the weather cools off.

Looks yummy indeed! One of my secret hobbies is gourmet cooking at home for the husband (the kids' idea of 'gourmet' is 'McDonalds') and your squash idea is most enticing indeed!

Hi Debbi - Thanks for the yellow squash bread info! if I get more squash this week that's what I'm going to make :-)

What steps in the upgrade did you get lost on? The most important part is to do the backups in case something goes wrong.

hail to the chef!

brava for your kitchen experiments! The CSA boxes can be really challenging, and the Washington Post food section did a week by week series of recipes last year...

yes, indeed, if Alex loves Zucchini bread, the yellow squash is just the same ;)

one Q: which blogs should I check about the constant WP upgrades? the last one did do itself, but it's always stressful. I've tried following the steps you and others do manually, but got lost in the tech terms...

keep on cookin' I've got a terrific recipe for no cook broccoli that everybody loves, dunno if it works for squash, though.

cheers!
