Another week already! This week I have lessons learned from IT, computer case mods, a screenshot tutorial, some photos of bands from the 70’s, recycling junk mail, and more. - Cool Computer Case Mods Some of these are great. They don’t even look like computers.
- 50 Simple Ways to Gain RSS Subscribers Daily Blog Tips provides 50 ways to increase the number of subscribers to your blog.
- How to Make Exciting Screenshots in Photoshop or Gimp – ProBlogDesign has a a great tutorial on how to make your screenshots stand out using Photoshop of Gimp.
- Lessons from the IT Field Heinous, from Irregularly Periodic Ruminations, has written an article about life lessons learned from his work in the Information Technology field. I just came across this blog earlier this week and am really enjoying the life observations and humor.
- Swedish Dance Bands from the 70’s – The clothes, hairstyles and band names make this a very special collection of photos ;-) I think we now know why Abba became so popular.
- 10 Creative Responses to Junk Mail If you get too much junk mail and are more creative than I am, this site provides some unique DIY projects.

Thanks for the links as usual. DBT’s RSS tips, I had gone through already… will have to read GIMP tips as I am struggling with it and no money to buy Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro

@Ron/Jim – Oh man, mp3’s would be awesome. I guess I could start searching but it might be impossible.
@Ajith – The gimp is a little hard to get used to but I don’t think it’s any harder than Photoshop and it’s almost as powerful. There are a lot of good tutorials out there. Maybe I will try to dig some up this week.
@Mike – Thanks! I’ve got some reading to do on your site too.

@Ari – LOL. The only Swedish band I even know of is Abba. Lately I’ve been listening to hip-hop/rap – bands like Top Choice Clique, The Welfare Poets and Aesop Rock. I’ve been a little angry …
