(Anti) Social-Lists – 9/14/08

I’ve got some great links for you this week, including some information about me! I’ve also found a awesome tutorial and two links about getting involved. I hope you enjoy this week’s installment.

  • Mark Hayward of mytropicallandscape launched Train for Humanity. Check out the site and get involved.
  • Dave Wilkinson posted an awesome tutorial on how to backup your website via ftp with Filezilla. He’s got a lot of other useful information on his website, so it’s worth reading some of his other articles.
  • Green & Clean Mom launched the Mommy Go Green Blog Tours. If you would like to write about and review environmentally sound products on your website, get involved with the tour. There is also a section for companies who would like to have their products reviewed.
  • Narayanan Hariharan provides a humorous look at the Unnecessary Knowledge database. I don’t want to divulge any spoilers but watch out for donkeys, ok?
  • Soon, I will be relaunching my website in order to highlight my services as a Wordpress Technical Consultant. So, I am shamelessly plugging myself by linking to Kristen King’s write-up about me, Upgrade Complete! Meet the Brilliant Mind Who Made it Possible, at Inkthinker and Siel’s recommendation of my work at Green La Girl. If you need some help with Wordpress, contact me via the information in the sidebar and we will work something out.
