(Anti) Social-Lists – 9/14/08
I’ve got some great links for you this week, including some information about me! I’ve also found a awesome tutorial and two links about getting involved. I hope you enjoy this week’s installment.
- Mark Hayward of mytropicallandscape launched Train for Humanity. Check out the site and get involved.
- Dave Wilkinson posted an awesome tutorial on how to backup your website via ftp with Filezilla. He’s got a lot of other useful information on his website, so it’s worth reading some of his other articles.
- Green & Clean Mom launched the Mommy Go Green Blog Tours. If you would like to write about and review environmentally sound products on your website, get involved with the tour. There is also a section for companies who would like to have their products reviewed.
- Narayanan Hariharan provides a humorous look at the Unnecessary Knowledge database. I don’t want to divulge any spoilers but watch out for donkeys, ok?
- Soon, I will be relaunching my website in order to highlight my services as a Wordpress Technical Consultant. So, I am shamelessly plugging myself by linking to Kristen King’s write-up about me, Upgrade Complete! Meet the Brilliant Mind Who Made it Possible, at Inkthinker and Siel’s recommendation of my work at Green La Girl. Wait! I want to be a reference! Kim also fixed my scheduled post problem, same as Green LA Girl! Phew! Thank you Kim! I was sooooo frustrated and now it is fixed….finally. Kim is even doing upgrades, adding plugins, tightening security and doing some “cleaning” to Green and Clean Mom this week. It is so nice to find someone that is reasonable, good, timely and for the love of WordPress says, I might not know but darn it all I’ll ask, figure it out and let you know. Her honesty, professionalism, networking and talent is super!
