Injured elephant suffering in canal (Sri Lanka)

“A wild elephant seriously wounded by trap gun shots is suffering in a muddy canal beside the Ritigala mountain. The animal is unable to walk as a result of sustaining a gunshot injury on its left foreleg. The animal has also sustained several other injuries.” - Daily News
