Microchips for wild elephants to prevent their captivity

“Concerned about the plight of captive elephants, the Centre has started a project to keep a track on the number of elephants in the region. Under ‘Project Elephant’, microchips will be inserted in wild elephants to prevent their further captivity” - ExpressIndia.Com
