” The residents of Minipe area recently staged a protest in front of Wilgamuwa Divisional Secretariat demanding an immediate solutions to the wild elephant threat in the area. Recently a herd of wild elephants from Wasgamuwa forest reserve roamed into Radunewewa village in Minipe colony destroyed 14 houses and caused serious injuries to several farmers.
