Hi Ajith,

I did use one of those recipe sites – and I meant to put that in this article and forgot. There actually wasn’t much for asparagus and potatoes except oven roasted recipes.

I made the same recipe again the next day and it came out much better the 2nd time. :-)

Roasted potatoes with glazed asparagus/garlic :yum...and that too from an organic farm, right? I remember your post on unique recipe sites... Hi Adrenalynn – I grew up in a really small town too – we used to go to a farm in the summer to buy produce. We used to get the best corn. At the time it was 10 cents an ear and I remember my Mom thinking that was too much … that was a long time ago. The woman who lived there had married a man with the last name Bay and her name was Kay. “Get in the car, we’re going to see Kay Bay” lol

You should see if any of the farms have the farm shares – it’s becoming
more and more common and it’s a really good deal.

Hi Siel,

I put everything on my google calendars – I have a bunch that feed into one that are all color coded – projects, home, kid … I even have clean litter box on there so I don’t forget. The calendar system works, if I look
at the calendar.

Do you have a car now or is this when you borrow one?

Hi Valerie – They block flickr but not my site? ;-) The place I used to work
blocked both although I could click through to my site. They are the same photos you already saw.

The previous article wasn’t just about the farm share but was one part of the article.

Wow that is AWESOME! I come from a very small town and I remember that we used to drive to a local farm to buy eggs when I was a kid, but that was pretty much it. It's still one of my fondest memories, though! I love the idea of getting food this way, and I wonder why we don't do it ourselves? There are several farms not too far from where we live that sell food, and it wouldn't be too difficult to stop by once in a while. I'll have to look into that! I totally hear you about being anxious about forgetting these weekly tasks! My issue: Moving the car for street cleaning. My way of dealing with it so far is by setting a recurring alarm to go off a half hour before street cleaning time each week. However, I'm still concerned that I'll be somewhere else far-ish from home when the alarm goes off -- then I'd be well aware that I need to move the car, but have no means by which to move it.... i can’t see the pictures here at work, but i saw them on your flickr page. i love potatoes..don’t like strawberries though. :(

Hi Tracy – I haven’t tried the eggs yet but all the asparagus is gone. :-)

Part of the problem with the 2nd photo is that I wanted to eat rather than
fuss with the photos ;-)
