Alex is completely in the ‘Princess Phase’ and is obsessed with Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast. She wants to watch the movies, hear the stories and play princess all of the time. She wants to wear dresses, make-up and tiaras. I’ve been trying to read her different versions of the fairy tales so she realizes that Disney isn’t the only version - so far that’s been pretty successful.

She is so excited because yesterday when we were out shopping we got her a princess bed set - it has sheets and a comforter with Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. When I put her to bed and tucked her in she said, “I don’t need my white blankie (her baby blanket).” Maybe the new comforter will help break her attachment of her baby blanket.

Alex had asked for a Cinderella dress for Valentine’s Day but since she was so good while getting her haircut we got it for her a week early. I love the monkey slippers/glass slippers - they really make the outfit.
