Alex and I dyed Easter eggs today. She also colored them and used little star and heart stamps on them. A couple of pictures have been added to March 2008.

I haven’t really written about Kindergarten but Alex seems to love it. The other night she told Marc that her favorite subjects were Art, Math and Science. I wonder what Math and Science is like for 5 year olds. I’m not surprised by her saying art - she loves to draw and is really quite good at it. She is definately Marc’s daughter.

One of Alex’s favorite activities is drawing. She likes to draw suns, flowers, butterflies and rainbows. She has also learned to write her name and likes practicing that. She always uses her left hand now so she is definately left-handed like me.

Alex is obsessed with coloring right now - it’s just about the only thing she wants to do. She uses her coloring books and carefully colors the pictures. It’s very important to her to stay inside the lines and to not scribble.
