I’ve finally added the photos from the last couple of months. I’ve been so busy that I’ve been neglecting Alex’s site. New photos have been added to August 2008, September 2008 and October 2008.

Alex put on this little show for us a couple of weeks ago. I love the part in the middle where Alex and I start laughing so hard that the show has to stop. Kids are weird.

Yesterday I was talking to Alex about when her camp goes to the swimming pool. I asked, “Do you have lessons?” Alex replied,”No, we can do whatever we want. Except pee in the pool.”

Alex has her third loose tooth. On the way to camp this morning she said, “I hope it comes out this weekend - then the tooth fairy will give me a $100 bill like last time.” I said, “Are you sure? I think it was a $1 bill.” And Alex replied, “It was a $1 bill and $100 bill.” I’m still laughing over that.

Yesterday when we were out at lunch Alex said that she was never getting married. My friend Jim looked at me and said, “Maybe she could marry Knox Pitt.” Knox is one of Brad Pitt’s new twins. Alex looked up and shouted, “My name is not Mouse Pit.”

I’ve posted a couple of photos of the kitten we found yesterday. We call her Captain Courageous or C.C. for short. I don’t think that we should keep her bit Alex and I are already so attached.

Alex and I found an abandoned or lost kitten in the park today. We brought it home but will hopefully find her real home or someone to take her. Alex, however, is already really attached to her - the kitten is so adorable. I call the kitten Captain Courageous because she is SO brave. When Carly (big mean kitty) saw her, the kitten ran right up to her. Carly then hissed and was really mean - the kitten hissed right back at her. Alex calls the kitten C.C. for short.

When we were walking home this afternoon Alex said that she wants to get a kitten and name it Mashed Potatoes.
