Stuff This in Your RSS – 10/28/08 – Neatorama
Neatorama contains links to all sorts of random information and is a fun diversion. What made me decide to list it this week was this adorable photo of a mother and baby giraffe. I love elephants best but do have a soft spot for giraffes too.
Neatorama excels at finding the oddest and most interesting strange links from around the internet and compiles them in one location. Recent front page stories are 10 Fun Facts about Picasso (seriously, I didn’t know there was anything fun about him), 40 Street Artists You Should Know Besides Banksy, the video of the McCain vs. Obama Dance Off, and a video of a house that walks.
Not necessarily the most useful sites out there but definitely a lot of fun. And we need to have fun – if we don’t, we will end up as cranky as I did last week.

It’s an interesting site… Will explore it later. Something that attracted me (other than the content itself) is the font selection links near the search button… pretty useful thing, I guess.

Hmm … I didn’t even notice that so I went back and looked. I suppose it’s useful although we can change the text size with our browser settings.

I checked out the dance routine. Too funny. I thought Obama would win hands down but I can’t decide!

@Wesley – Isn’t it great! I love that photo. I like elephants best but really like giraffes too. With those long eyelashes it’s impossible for them to look mean.

Kim, do you remember that Font adjust widget that neatorama had? Do you know where to get that one from? Looks like the blog doesn’t carry it anymore…

Ajith – I do remember the widget but I don’t know what they used to do that. I just did a quick search but didn’t find anything. If I do, I’ll let you know.
