Stuff This in Your RSS – 9/30/08 – WordPress Screencasts

Round Zucchini with Sausage and Turkey Stuffing (by Stef Noble)

wpscreencasts is a video tutorial site designed to familiarize beginners with the WordPress interface.

Topics covered include familiarizing yourself with the dashboard, learning how to use the wysiwyg editor, and management of comments.

The tutorials do not cover more advanced topics such as plugin development or theme design. They are hoping to cover installation soon. I really hope they do – we need video tutorials on that topic.

I noticed after starting this article, that new videos have not been added in about a month. I hope I’m not recommending a site that isn’t going to keep updating.

If you’re new to WordPress or your learning style prefers watching over reading than you should check our wpscreencasts.

  • Hi Kim,

I co-manage wpscreencasts with my partner JJ and don’t you worry, we are totally working on adding more videos. We are aiming for the next batch of 2.6 videos to come out by the end of the month.

We are also preparing for the 2.7 update, so be on the look out for new videos early next year as well.

    Thanks for sharing the site.
