@Sire - Good friends - ones that will really be there for you aren't all that common. Jim is the best.

Having good friends sure is a bonus, especially when they are willing to go out of their way to make things better for you or to even take the time to listen to your troubles. There are many people who will say they are your friends, but when it comes to the crunch they will normally bale out. Jim sounds more like your kid brother and as such his actions are more that of a family member than a friend. You have been truly blessed.

Hi Kim!

What a beautiful thing to do and to write about! Indeed there is nothing quite like gratitude and I do not really celebrate Thanksgiving either (our Canadian one passed over a month ago) because I feel that we should live with thanks and gratitude for all that we have everyday and not just one day out of the year!

So here is being grateful for so many people in the world like you that continue to spread kindness, gratitude, joy and all other things that lift up our spirits :)

Kim,

Our experiences shape us into the people we are today and definitely, to each his own.

@Dee - Well, we're all entitled to our opinions. I don't like most holidays for a variety of reasons. I don't make too much of it and I don't criticize others for celebrating them.
