Whenever you're feeling down, take a drive/walk through a slum (I drive through one on the way to/from work each day). Watch the faces of the kids playing in the dirt. Chances are a lot of them will be smiling. If a child who has absolutely nothing going for them, and they can still find something to smile about, it proves that life can't be all that bad.
