I think I’ve got some good links for you this week as well as a couple of fun ones. Topics include freelancing, WordPress, Twitter, Feedburner, Inauguration Photos, Cats, and Calendars. Enjoy!

Library Lookup Bookmarklet
If I bought every book that interested me, I would have two problems. First, I would be totally broke. And second, I would have no more room in my apartment and would have to build a new house out of the books.
So, I am a heavy user of my local library. Plus, most books, especially fiction, I am never going to read again so it doesn’t make a lot of sense to purchase them. I do collect fairy tale collections and books about elephants but otherwise I really don’t need to own all the books I want to read.
6 WordPress Book and Notebook Themes
As I continue book week here at (Anti) Social Development, I gift you with 6 WordPress themes related to books and notebooks.
Again, some of these are contenders for my next installment of ugly WordPress themes and I’m not quite sure that they are appropriate for book related blogs but they have something about them related to books or a notebook style design.
Notepad chaos is the only one I’ve seen in the wild and is probably my favorite of all of them.
What do you think? Do you like any of these? Would you use them on a bookish site?
4 Sites to Help You Decide What Book to Read Next
I love to read and average about a book per week. Well, honestly I didn’t come close to that last year but most years I read 50-70 books. I’ve been keeping track of every book I’ve read since 1991 – I wish I had started that when I learned how to read. I don’t have a fancy database or anything but just a list of author/title in a notebook. Maybe someday I will digitize it. If you have not interesting books to read you should visit to Book First blog.
I don’t usually have a hard time deciding what to read next because I have a teetering pile next to my bed. Actually, I have piles all over the house. But sometimes I read something that I really love and want to find a similar book. So, here I have listed 4 sites that might help you pick the next book you are going to read.
(Anti) Social-Lists 1/18/09
Well, finally. Here is the first installment of (Anti) Social Lists in 2009. I’ve meant to do one the last two weeks but I wasn’t online enough to have enough interesting links to include. This week I have information about html 5, WordPress tutorials, the WordPress 2.7 interface, PSD to HTML tutorials, freelancing, cleaning a coffeemaker and Jeff Starr’s thoughts on Twitter. I posted some of these links on Twitter, so you may have already seen them, but they are worth repeating.
