I am currently working on a personal project to create a WordPress based collection of all the books I have read. While searching for resources I came across these great WordPress themes for selling books – some are geared toward an individual author’s books and others are for a full online store that could be used for a bookstore or publisher.

Raising Money for Extra Life to Support the Children’s Hospital Network
This Saturday, November 7, 2015, I will be playing The Secret World for 24 hours in the Extra Life to help raise money for the Children’s Hospital Network with the donations I receive going to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
The Secret World is a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game that I have played on and off for a couple of years. I am teaming up with CoSC (Coalition of Small Cabals) and our gameplay will stream on Twitch on Taiver’s (our team Captain) Twitch channel (http://twitch.tv/plutoderps). In The Secret World (if you are watching or playing) I am LakeBridge – feel free to add me as a friend.
Moving Lessons: Too Much Stuff and Getting Organized
I seems like I’ve been talking about moving for months – and I actually did lease the new place in May with an August move in date.
When I was younger I moved a lot – almost every year – but I’ve been in this place for over 10 years. And this is my first move with a child so it isn’t just my belongings but hers as well. I do think I have more but she sure has a lot too.
But now we are down to the last couple of weeks and I am all packed except for things I need like clothes, dishes, this computer and soap.
How to Turn Off Facebook Notifications
I get a lot of Facebook notifications. Unfortunately, many of them are for things in which I am not interested, such as game requests. While I like video games, I’ve never played one on Facebook and have no plans to do so. And, while I have all email from Facebook turned off, the notifications fill up within Facebook quickly.
So, I decided to see if I could remove the game notifications. Unfortunately, there isn’t a single setting and they need to be done individually.
What to Read Next: Books Read the 2nd Half of 2011
My yearly reading goal is 52 books or a book a week. I surpassed this in 2011 and read 95 books. Many of these were series that weren’t that challenging, such as the Sue Grafton and Jim Butcher books. I also became obsessed with Laura Lippman and ready everything she has written.
I’ve decided to challenge myself a bit more in 2012 and one of the first books I’ve read is The Pale King by David Foster Wallace. I’m also planning on reading 1Q84 by Murakami, Infinte Jest by David Foster Wallace and to read the Neal Stephenson’s that have been next to my bed for years. I’m also going to try to read more non-fiction.
Here are the books I read the 2nd half of 2011
