7 Free WordPress Water Themes
As it heats up here in Philly this summer, all I can think about is cooling off in the water. I’m not a big fan of pools because I grew up by lakes and prefer swimming in them. I suppose I will have to wait until my trip to Vermont (I wish I was leaving today).
To help us cool off, here are 5 WordPress themes featuring water.

Thanks for this, my friend is a huuuuuuge pirate fan and I think she would like the Chasing Pirates in Carribean theme for her personal blog.

Hi Kim. Stunning and beautiful photo on the theme “Boat”. Exactly that photo, are we searching for, to our home pages photo-gallery over Marbella and the beaches. Now do I know where I maybe can find it.

Hi Marbella – Cool – I hope you are able to use it.

The heat has been hideous lately, hasn’t it! If I hadn’t promised not to change my blog theme for a year, I’d be very tempted. Water themes were my favorite, and I had a large collection. In fact, the one I created is a water theme. :-)

Hi Kim,
Perfect timing with these. The summer reading programs this year at the libraries have the theme of “Watering Your Mind”.
Also, I’m a little frustrated with my Headway theme. Cumbersome problems plague the upgrades. Kinda sorry I paid for the darned thing at this point. Maybe a little water based WP would be the ticket, eh?

I feel your pain with Headway, George. It shows a lot of promise, but it’s always one step forward, two steps back. That’s why I switched to Frugal.

Hi Sharon – I haven’t tried Frugal – I guess because a client hasn’t asked for it. I should test it out.

Hi George – Our library has “Make a Splash at the Library”. I guess everyone is thinking about water ;-)
I’m not thrilled with Headway – it can do a lot but it’s not as intuitive as I thought it would be.
Is this upgrades of the actual theme?

Hi Kim,
Yeah, It’s HW upgrade issues. You have to upload a widget plugin and my experience has been diasastrous. I lose all formatting whenever I try and I’ve followed their directions to a t. Support was less than supportive as well…

Hi George – That’s a shame :( I always get more nervous upgrading certain themes, like Thesis, then I do WordPress.
